Well things are looking good for the new Brand Institute VIP program.  Just as promised, third quarter payments came to Paypal (they also will send a check if you prefer) this morning. This was for my referrals having completed only 8 surveys (I talked about how their structure works here).  So as you can see, this program has only upside!

Brand Institute has new VIP Referral Competition

Brand Institute announced late last week that they were having a new referral competition for their VIP members. The winner will receive $300! Per their email here are the details.

From November 13, 2009 to December 15, 2009, Brand Institute is encouraging all
Recruiting Agents to participate in the 2009 Recruiting Contest.   The objective of
this contest is to recruit a minimum of 5 people who currently reside in specific
countries/territories of South America and the Caribbean to register as a member of
our panel.  The countries/territories are listed below:


• Costa Rica
• Dominican Republic
• Ecuador
• El Salvador
• Guatemala
• Honduras
• Jamaica
• Nicaragua
• Panama
• Puerto Rico
• Trinidad & Tobago
• Venezuela


As an incentive for your participation, we will award the top three (3)
Recruiting Agents with the most referrals AND who meet all of the required
guidelines with cash prizes.  You will continue to be compensated for every study
you complete as well as for each time any of your referrals completes a study
during the first year after joining our panel.

• First Place   USD $300
• Second Place  USD $200
• Third Place USD $100 

Below are the rules and guidelines of the contest:

1. Recruit a minimum of five (5) participants
2. Recruits must currently reside in one of the countries specified above
3. For the recruit to be counted towards your total they must fully register as
a member of our panel
4. In order for the recruit to start the online registration process, they must
register with your personal recruiting link
5. Once the recruit completes the online registration process, they will receive
an email with a verification link, which they must click in order for the registration process to be completed
6. The deadline for all recruits to confirm their registration is December 15, 2009
before 12:00 a.m. (EST)
7. In the event of a tie, we will utilize the date and time of the recruits’
registration in question were submitted as a tie breaker

Brand Institute VIP Payment Details

I sent Brand Institute an email a week ago as I had closed out my first quarter with them as a VIP at the end of September. But I couldn't find details on the VIP site about how and when referral earnings are paid. I didn't hear back.

So I gave them a call. They now show payments as processing which they said means we (as in those who are VIPs) should expect payment in the next 1-2 weeks. They will pay via Paypal or Check, whichever you prefer.

I also asked them to clarify payment structures. For each medical professional you refer, you are paid $10 for each survey they take. For each consumer panelist you refer, you are paid $5 for each survey they take.

I am just thrilled that they have finally brought their VIP affiliate program back. For those of you who like paid surveys, this is absolutely one of the BEST ones out there.
